We’re Back and Building Something Bigger!
In just two years, Autism MVP’s Pickleball Social has raised more than $30,000 toward a $100,000 endowed scholarship at Rutgers University in honor of Dwight Macock. Now, we’re bringing the energy back for year three with a great, new venue and an even greater impact.
Join us for the 3rd Annual Autism MVP Pickleball Social, a fun, inclusive night for all skill levels, from first-time players to seasoned competitors. We will also have a court for special needs players who may need 1-1 instruction. Whether you’re here to compete, learn, or just be part of something meaningful, you’ll have a place on the court.
This year’s event will be held at Dill Dinkers Freehold on Tuesday, June 23, 2026
Event Schedule:
- 5:30 PM – Check-in opens, food, drink, socialize, Event t-shirt pickup
- 6:30–8:00 PM – Round 1 play (grouped by level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Special Needs)
- 8:00–8:30 PM – Brief presentation, food, drink, prizes, professional Pickleball demonstration
- 8:30–9:30 PM – Round 2 play
Price
- Tickets are $75
- We also have a $25 ticket for special needs children and adults who want to play
- Can’t play or simply want to join us as a spectator? Those tickets are $25.
Why It Matters
There simply aren’t enough educators and therapists to support individuals with autism and that gap is growing.
Autism MVP is working to change that by funding scholarships for graduate students pursuing careers in autism-focused education and therapy. Every dollar raised helps build a stronger, more prepared workforce and better outcomes for families who depend on it.
This event continues the legacy of Dwight Mackock, founder and longtime president of the Monmouth Pickleball Club who was a player, teacher, and community builder who believed deeply in bringing people together through Pickleball.
