SUMMARY:Second Annual Pickleball Social for Autism MVP
DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, we held the Inaugural Pickleball Social and raised $17\,000!  That money has allowed us to create the newly endowed Autism MVP Dwight Macock Memorial Scholarship fund at Rutgers University. \nAgain\, in cooperation with the Monmouth Pickleball Club and to honor the legacy of Dwight Macock\, Autism MVP is proud to present the 2nd Annual Pickleball Social for Autism MVP.  The proceeds of this event we will continue to fund the Dwight Macock Memorial Scholarship and allow us to deliver more scholarships to deserving students to assist in furthering their education focused on serving the Autism community. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here. \nDwight was President of the Monmouth Pickleball Club for many years until his death on May 10\, 2023\, and served as a player\, teacher\, volunteer\, tournament organizer\, and friend to hundreds of local players. Like nearly everything else in his life\, his love for the game was only outweighed by the joy he found in helping others enjoy it as well. \nAutism MVP provides scholarships to graduate students at Rutgers\, Monmouth and Temple who are pursuing careers that will improve the daily life skill outcomes for individuals with autism. \nOur mission is to increase the number of autism-focused educators and therapists to meet the current and future needs of students on the autism spectrum. \nCome and join the fun!\nBe a Pickleball MVP – a fun\, social event that will get you on the court.  ALL levels of play – groups of four and brackets will be set-up for the newbie\, beginner/advanced beginner\, intermediate and advanced players.  Instruction will be provided if you have never played!  Paddles and balls will be provided if you need them. \nYou can have people sponsor you too!\nShare the news that you will be playing and easily get your friends and family to support your efforts through our system – easy to do and great for the cause! \nHosted by:    Pickleball HQ in Cliffwood\, NJ

DESCRIPTION:In cooperation with the Monmouth Pickleball Club and to honor the legacy of Dwight Macock\, Autism MVP is proud to announce that its annual Pickleball Social on June 20\, 2024 raised more than $17\,000 to benefit a new endowed scholarship program with one of the foundation’s partner universities. \nDwight was President of the Monmouth Pickleball Club for many years until his death on May 10\, 2023. He served as a player\, teacher\, volunteer\, tournament organizer\, and friend to hundreds of local players. Like nearly everything else in his life\, his love for the game was only outweighed by the joy he found in helping others enjoy it as well. His legacy was the inspiration for this unique and impactful event and those to follow. \nThis fun\, social event was open to all levels of play\, making it truly enjoyable for everyone.  Instruction and a Pickleball demo were provided by area pros and paddles and balls were provided for those who needed them. \nThe event was made possible by the host venue\, The New Shrewsbury Racquet Club along with sponsors Circle Hyundai\, Bright Achievements\, Central Reach\, Happy Dad Seltzer\, The Sauce Pizzeria\, Oceanport\, Jettprep\, DJ James Strzz\, Jared G.- This is my Bartender\, and Kitch Pickleball.

SUMMARY:2024 Brewing Awareness for Autism Raises $18\,000
DESCRIPTION:Autism MVP’s 7th Annual “Brewing Awareness for Autism” on Saturday\, April 20\, 2024 raised $18\,000 for the foundation’s scholarship programs. All proceeds from the event benefitted graduate students enrolled in autism studies/Applied Behavior Analysis programs at Monmouth University\, Rutgers University and Temple University. \nHeld at Birdsmouth Beer in Oceanport\, NJ for the second straight year\, more than 100 people enjoyed a fun evening of live music from Loveseat Pete\, great good from Slices of Hope in Little Silver and amazing craft beer from Birdsmouth Beer. \nThe event was sponsored by Circle Hyundai\, Circle BMW\, Central Reach\, the New Jersey Association for for Behavior Analysis\, Hops for Awareness and Birdsmouth Beer. \nInterested in sponsoring a future Autism MVP event?
