Autism MVP and Temple University Announce Endowed Scholarship

Starting in the 2021-22 academic year, the Autism MVP Foundation will awardan annual scholarship to students enrolled in Temple University’sMaster of Science in Education (MSEd) in Applied Behavior Analysis program. The initiative includes a $50,000 pledge from the foundation that the College of Education and Human Development is matching through its Centennial Scholarship Challenge. As a result of the match component, an additional five students will receive scholarships in the 2021-22 academic year.

“We are excited to support Temple’s graduate students who are future leaders in special education and applied behavior analysis,” said Keith Green, Founder and Executive Director of Autism MVP. “Many thanks to members of our Board of Trustees and Advisory board, as well as our sponsors, donors and event volunteers who help make programs like this possible. We are an all-volunteer organization and greatly appreciate everyone’s time and dedication to make initiatives like this a reality.”

“Working with the Autism MVP Foundation on this gift has been so gratifying and motivating. The organization’s passion for supporting educators and professionals who support those with Autism and their families is inspiring,” said Derek Coffman, major gift officer in the College of Education and Human Development. “By making this gift and taking advantage of the Centennial Scholarship Challenge, the foundation will be able to sextuple the number of students supported over the next two years,” added Coffman.
